Rising Stars
Six concerts in the Kleiner Saal of the Laeiszhalle.
Anyone searching today for the superstars of tomorrow need look no further: presented in this series are some of the most promising candidates starting an international career. Every year the members of the »European Concert Hall Organisation« select talented young musicians from their respective country according to the strictest criteria. Those who can live up to the highest standards of their own concert halls are given a chance to demonstrate their talent on tour throughout the most famed European stages.
The young musicians, seeing this as an opportunity to start an international career, play with extra energy and unbridled elan (as stars such as Emmanuel Pahud, Janine Jansen, Patricia Kopatchinskaja and many others have done before them). On show are exceptional talent and mature interpretations combined with sheer enjoyment and youthful freshness.
