Meeting of the European Concert Hall Organisation: From the 17th to 18th of April 2012, the directors of the leading european concert halls held meetings in the Laeiszhalle and the KörberForum in Hamburg. It was hosted by Elbphilharmonie's artistic director and ECHO-organisation's chairmen Christoph Lieben-Seutter. Highlight was a collective visit on the Elbphilharmonie construction site. 

In January 2012, 25th to 27th the international symposiums The Art of Music Education took playe in Hamburg, organized by Elbphilharmonie, Koerber foundation, and European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO). During three days, international experts were discussing the question whether music education still has its allies.
