Festivals 2011/2012

No season of the Elbphilharmonie Concerts can start without festivals. There is something for everyone who enjoys being surprised and likes to discover something new. Due to high demand, the festival »Akkordeonist!« will continue into its second round on November 9 – 13. These are first-class concerts in St. Pauli that highlight a truly unique instrument. At »Sounds of Israel«, from February 11 – 19, an exciting selection from the rich and varied musical tradition of Israel will be presented. And in April, the Hamburger Ostertoene, under the direction of Simone Young, spans the bridge from Brahms to modern music for the seventh time.
