John Malkovich
In the series of special concerts in the Elbphilharmonie Program, the Season 2011/2012 opens with a Hollywood star: on September 26 John Malkovich returns to the Hansa City, after thrilling audiences in May 2010 in »The Infernal Comedy«. This time he is in the role of Giacomo Casanova in the musical theater piece »The Giacomo Variations«. On October 15, there is the film screening of Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau‘s silent film classic »Faust« in the Thalia Theater. The completely new film score from Tobias Schwencke will be performed live by the Ensemble Resonanz.
