2. Period of validity and renewal of subscription · Changing your subscription? No problem!

The subscription is valid for the entire concert season 2010/2011. The subscription is renewed automatically (at comparable terms and conditions) for the following season unless cancelled by May 31, 2011 by writing to the Elbphilharmonie Culture Café. Subscribers will be informed about possible changes in the subscription for the 2011/2012 season three weeks prior to the date of renewal, May 31, 2011.
School and university students, trainees, military and community workers who have purchased a subscription at a reduced rate must present valid documents prior to May 31 of the current season in order to renew the subscription on the same reduced terms for the following season. These documents must be submitted as photocopies to the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle Service GmbH. When attending a concert the documents that entitle you to the reduction must be shown.

3. Payment dates for subscriptions · 14 days time to pay

The subscription must be paid within 14 days after the booking confirmation has been sent to you. Form of payment: Money transfer to the bank account of the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle Service GmbH as stated on the booking confirmation or via credit card (VISA or MasterCard.) If the subscription is renewed for the following season, the open charge has to be paid within 14 days after receiving the bill. After the money has been received, your subscription pass will be sent to you, free of charge. If you fail to pay your bill on time, the Elbphilharmonie Culture Café has the right to reallocate your reserved seat(s) to someone else.

4. Subscription pass · Your seat is safe!

On your subscription pass all the concert dates and your reserved seat are printed out. The pass serves as an entrance ticket for the entire season and has to be presented upon entering. The ticket for the subscribed concert can be transferred to a third person (in case of a special reduced subscription, only to an eligible third party.) The subscription pass is valid for free public transport to and from the concert on the day of the performance, covering the entire Hamburg public transport network.

5. Exchange of subscription pass · Cannot make it to a concert? Simply exchange your ticket!

If you are not able to attend a concert in your subscription series due to personal reasons, you may exchange the ticket for another concert presented by Elbphilharmonie Concerts. You can only change tickets within the 2010/2011 season, and you may only do so once per season by contacting the Elbphilharmonie Culture Café before 1 p.m. at least one working day prior to the concert in question. Should there only be seats available in a lower price group for the new concert it is not possible to refund the difference; should you change to a higher price category you will have to pay the difference. No substitute ticket will be issued for concerts not attended.

6. Change of program or artist · In case of concert cancellation: reimbursement

Changes in program and/or casting regarding soloists and conductors may occur. This does not, however, entitle you to return your subscription ticket(s.) If a concert is cancelled you will be reimbursed the proportional price of your subscription.

7. Further reductions for subscribers · More music, more reductions

Your subscription pass also serves as a reduction card, i.e. you can buy two tickets (for every subscribed seat) for Elbphilharmonie Concerts outside of your own series at a reduced price of at least 10 percent. The subscriber can also buy two seats at a 10 percent reduction for many concerts not presented by Elbphilharmonie Concerts. Your subscription pass must be shown when asking for the discount as well as upon entering the concert hall. It is not possible to combine the reductions for school and university students, trainees, military and community workers with these extra discounts for subscription pass holders. If you present your pass at a concert of your subscription series, you will receive a free program for that evening's performance.

8. Obligation of the subscriber to notify us · We will stay in touch

The subscriber is kindly asked to inform Elbphilharmonie Culture Café about changes of name or address.
